Case Study: Chase Resource Supply of Camtech Large Bore Ball, Gate and Globe Valves for ONGC Mumbai High, Nilam & Heera Asset.

Chase Resource recently supplied and completed the order for ONGC’s Ball Valve, Gate Valve and Globe Valve for Mumbai Assets.
A Total of 899 valves were manufactured in the Camtech Manufacturing Facility in Dubai in a span of 3 months. All the valves were of forged valve body. The supply had valve of materials like Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex F51, Duplex F60, Aluminium Bronze, Leaded Navy Bronze. The sizes of the valves ranged from 2” to 24”.
All Ball Valves were provided with API 6D with monogram. Gate Valves were API 600 and Globe valves were BS 1873. All the valves were painted as per ONGC’s requirement and were Fire Safe Approved.
The valves were supplied as per ONGC’s ITP where the following Tests and Procedures were conducted-

- High Pressure Hydrostatic Test of the valve body and seat.
- Low Pressure Pneumatic Test of the valve seat.
- Heat Treatment.
- NDT Tests like Magnetic Particle Inspection and Positive Material Identification
- Mechanical, Chemical Analysis recorded in the Valve Test Certificate as per EN ISO 10204 - 3.1
- Paint Inspection Reports
